This test was conducted using Chicken of the Sea brand canned tuna. Other tests were conducted using different brands and variations (such as in oil instead of water) and all produced ORAC values which were not significantly different. Does tuna have a lot of antioxidants relative to other foods? No, almost all fish have very little antioxidant content. It does have a very small amount of Omega 3 fatty acids: ranging from 0.3 to 0.5 grams within a 6 ounce can.
