There are many health benefits claimed for raw garlic, including for cold relief, for hair and skin, and other therapeutic uses. Those benefits are not conclusively proven, but what has been confirmed is that raw garlic (as well as the powdered form) is a rich source of antioxidants, as demonstrated by its ORAC number.
