Does gelatin have any antioxidant content? It doesn't appear to or if it does, it's very little. This test measured the ORAC value of Jell-O brand strawberry flavor, which was purchased in the US. The number came back as a flat zero. This is quite rare, as even the least nutritious foods out there often times still achieve an ORAC of around 100 or 200. The same report did also evaluate another brand, Hunts Juicy Gels, which did come back positive but at only at 30 for the strawberry flavor. Therefore we can conclude it's not just specific to one manufacturer, but rather jello and gelatin products don't have much antioxidants whatsoever.
