What is the difference between Earl Grey and English Breakfast tea?

Earl grey is traditional black tea, except it has bergamot essential oil added which gives it a citrus-orange flavor. English Breakfast is also a form of black tea, except it is a blend of leaves from different regions; Ceylon (Sri Lanka), Assam (India) and Kenya. Thanks to the added bergamot, Earl Grey is slightly healthier in terms of antioxidant content, but the difference is too minimal to sway the choice. Pick based on which flavor you like best.

Twinings of England was the brand used for this test.
