Also known as broccoli raab, Americans are not as fond of this leafy cruciferous vegetable when compared to the Europeans. The flavor of the leaves does have a slightly pungent or bitter taste, but that shouldn't stop you from eating this green powerhouse which is packed full of antioxidants.
