Which raisins are healthiest? Many wrongly guess that it must be the most common type of raisin which is made with red or black grapes. It turns out that is actually the least healthiest raisin in terms of how much antioxidants they contain. If you want the type of raisin with the highest amount of antioxidants, choose golden raisins, which have an ORAC nearly 3x that as the regular raisins. Best of all, the golden variety are quite affordable when compared to many other more exotic superfoods. Buy some for your oatmeal, salads, desserts, or just for a healthy afternoon snack.
