If you think the red arils are the healthiest part of the fruit, think again. The white stuff (pith) inside you can eat. Though if you're going to eat the pith, go for the yellow that's along the outer edges. How much antioxidants it has is over 30x more than pomegranate arils and juice of equal weight.
