I have done some research on this concern myself and I felt some arguments against blue LED light being bad for us were the most convincing, but yet I still have had high suspicion. The above quote from the article sustains my worry. I actually asked an ophthalmologist for his opinion on this and he would only say that it’s debated; but that was like him to only give a frustrating answer to any unsettled topic.

I did not know that bilberry might be good for dry eyes, which is good to know. Dry eyes are a serious problem for an awful lot of people – I expect that 2017 study to spark followups.
