From what I read it says that’s 1%-2% your total amount lost per day(at 154lb). Basically saying they pills are totally worthless unless they somehow indirectly increase production but it’s highly improbable. Were you referring to something else I missed?

I read from WebMD it takes about 2 to 3 weeks to recover. Call your Doctor if you are still sick or getting worse.

The mechanism seems related to why large doses of antioxidants can fuel cancer: it supports the creation and supply of blood to precancerous cells and tumors by making more blood vessels and capillaries (angiogenesis.)
In addition, the problems aren’t limited to cancer. Vision, heart probems, circulation – one can only speculate the amount of damage as no safe dosage has been established.

A pharmacist mistakenly prescribed H.A. For me (120mg per capsules) I took 15 capsules out of the 30 capsules in the bottle. With vitamins and omega 3 for 15 days or more. I started having side effect. I was Sleeping too much, and getting weak easily. My skin become so softer and plump. It like I lost all my muscles and my thick strong skin at once. My body become soft and my thighs are not firm and thick like they use to be. I’m just 24 years old. Now I want to know how long does the side effect last for, I cannot wait to go back to the way my body was before. Please help, if there is any medical or pills or food. To get my strong Africa skin back. I’m so sad, I regret taking HA.

Man, thanks for that about glucosamine. I am supposed to be taking it for my joints already. I ended up here while researching skincare supplements. Guess I need to pay attention to the problems I was already solving before I take on more…

I was thinking the same thing. So everything in that paragraph is irrelevant . One would have to take 150 100mg capsules to even equal the 15 grams naturally occurring, if you figure the it said 333% now you talking almost 500 capsules a day. Makes no sense at all.

However, I took HA supplements for 4 months-no improvement in skin, joints or the like. It does not prevent cancer, or else there would not be such an increase in cancer and it would be given to cancer patients. Did the American Cancer Society suddenly tell people to take this over the counter supplement containing glucosamine with or without chondroitin to prevent cancer deaths-NO. They are for joint problems not deadly illnesses. So the above comment by CD is ridiculous. I think it is a blurb from a larger article and taken out of context.
