I was on D3 Cholecalciferol oil drops for 3 months, 100 000 IU per week, got barely to the edge of not considered deficient, the symptoms started subsiding, though I was still bothered by them. Then I decided to try Viridian’s D3 derived from lichens and within 2 months my levels were right back down, even though I daily took a 2000 IU pill along with fish oil capsule to ensure enough oil while taking the supplement. The symptoms all came back, now I am going back to the D3 Cholecalciferol oil drops, but at a higher dose. I do not recommened the so called vegetarian D3, it may be just that that brand’s type does not work, but it did not work at all for me and I need to carry on with life and correct this D deficiency, as the symptoms are very severe when levels are so low.
